நொரு

நொரு noru, பெ. (n.)

   1. முதிர்ந்த பயிரின் அடியில் அல்லது கணுவில் தோன்றும் இளங்கதிர்; after-shoot from the roots of rice, millet, etc., after the main stalk has come to maturity.

   2. காய்ப்பு மாறினபின் அரும்பும் பிஞ்சு; small after-fruits, as of pumpkin plants.

   3. சிறு பிஞ்சு; small fruit.
